Borneo Diamonds: Landak Diamond Deposits

Borneo's ancient alluvial Landak diamond deposits are located along the banks of the Landak and Kapuas river. These ancient riverbed deposits were mined in the 17th and 18th century by indigenous natives who hand-dug pits in river-bank gravel.
