Liusha Gang, China: Beihai Akoya Pearl Farms

Zhangjiang (Liusha Gang or Liusha Town), known as the 'County of Akoya Pearls' is located in a protected inlet on the western side of the Leizhou Peninsula on the southern coast of China. Liusha Gang is a major Akoya pearl farming region in China, with Guangzhou City & Beihai City being the major trading centers of the Leizhou Peninsula.
