Internal Laser Drilling (LDH) Inclusion Photography
Internal Laser Drilling (LDH) inclusions are man-made internal flaws that resulted from laser-drilling that was done to remove large piqué carbon inclusions in a rough stone. With internal laser-drilling inclusions, the drilled passage may not breach the cut diamond's surface.

All of the microscopic diamond inclusion photography on this page was generously contributed by the AGSL gemological testing laboratory in Las Vegas, Nevada, and is reproduced with their permission.
